ORLSEY A 12-BORE SIDELOCK EJECTOR Ser No 3637;
Chequered butt, straight grip and forend. Harvey’s 1866 Patent forend release, convex rib, engraving worn. Treble grip action, carved teardrop fences, hold open top lever, automatic safety with ‘SAFE’ inlaid in gold. The action with scroll highlight to simply edged locks now bright, engraved ‘T. HORSLEY & SON’ For 1899. Sleeved and reproved 1963

Additional Comments:
Light silvering to muzzle and breech with a number of marks to the outsides of the chambers. The action bright with some fine marks to the left plate. The stock richly figured with light scratches, the chequering worn. Visible sleeving joint. The bores bright, slight bulge to right barrel 5 1/4" from muzzle with light frosting to the bore.
