Hard rubber butt, chequered straight grip and forend. Damascus barrels, tapered rib engraved JOSEPH HARKOM & SON. 32 PRINCES STREET. EDINBERGH’. Harkom carved fences, top lever, automatic safety with ‘SAFE’ framed in gold. The action finely engraved throughout with extensive acanthus scrolling. Pre-1887 black powder proof.

Tarnished finish to barrels and throughout the action. Small marks to barrels. Bores with little frosting. The engraving lightly softened. The stock with signs of use and quite a dent to the toe.
