Autumn Sale of Fine Sporting arms
Circa 1899. Chequered butt, straight grip and forend. Rib with gold inlaid ‘2′, manufacturer’s marks faded. Treble grip action, cocking indicators, hold-open top lever, automatic safety with ‘SAFE’ also ‘2’ inlaid in gold. The action finely engraved throughout with bouquets and extensive acanthus scrolling, ‘HENRY ATKIN’ on scrolls to the sides. Reproved London 2010.
