Chequered butt, richly figured stock with well-matched 1 1/4" extension, chequered semi-pistol grip (insert) and forend. Tapered rib engraved CARR BROS HUDDERSFIELD’ and ‘2’. Treble grip action, intercepting sears top lever, automatic safety with ‘SAFE’ engraved. The action engraved with bouquets and fine, extensive acanthus scrolling. Proof 1896 – 1904.
