Cushioned butt, chequered semi-rounded grip and forend. Tapered rib engraved (worn) W. J. JEFFERY & CO LTD. 9 GOLDEN SQUARE, REGENT ST, LONDON’, the barrels ‘FOR 3" CASE’. Doll’s head extension, top lever, automatic safety with ‘SAFE’ inlaid in gold. The action, with some remaing colour, engraved with W. J. JEFFERY & CO LTD’ mounted on scrolls. For approx 1940. Birmingham reproof 1953.
Weight 7lb 14oz, Chambers 3", Choke Full, Full, Barrels 32", Pull 14 1/2" not incl butt and spacer, OAL 49 1/2" inc butt.

Light silvering to muzzle with a number of light marks to the barrels. The action retaining some original colour, the engraving sharp. The stock lightly marked, the chequering worn. The barrels with vestgial frosting.
