Description
Finely embellished steel tips to heel and toe, chequered butt straight grip and forend. Damascus, black powder proof barrels with broad rib, engraved ‘1’, ‘T. WILD. 35 WHITTALL STREET. BIRMINGHAM’. Cross-bolt extension, the action finely engraved with blackcock and pheasants amid a Highland scene to the sides, a bustard to the top lever and dogs to the trigger guard. The interstices filled with the finest acanthus scrolling. Wonderful. Black powder proof pre-1896.

Finish thinned. The action little wear at all, the engraving sharp. The stock worn with only one 1/2" dent and deeper scratch. The bores with frost patches, some more obvious.
