Chequered, well-matched extension to butt, chequered rounded grip and forend. Tapered, concave rib engraved ‘WILLIAM EVANS FROM PURDEY’s etc’. Doll’s head extension, treble-grip action, top lever, automatic safety with ‘SAFE’ inlaid in gold. The action extensively engraved with acanthus scrolling. For 1900. Sleeved 1971.
