Ribbed, horn extension to butt, chequered, rounded, semi-pistol grip and forend. Convex rib engraved ‘W.R. PAPE. NEWCASTLE-UPON-TYNE’. Top lever, automatic safety with ‘SAFE’. The action with remnant acanthus scrolling. For 1901 (approx), sleeved 1976 poss replacement rib.
