Ribbed, horn butt, finely, chequered straight grip and forend. Tapered rib engraved ‘T. STENSBY & Co. MANCHESTER’. Concealed third bite, top lever, automatic safety with ‘SAFE’ inlaid. The action engraved with ‘T. STENSBY & Co.’ mounted on scrolls and extensive acanthus scrolling. Ca 1923

Additional Comments, Light silvering to muzzle and breech with a number of fine, light marks to the barrels. Some feint original colour remaining on the action, light tarnish, the engraving little worn. The stock with some fine marks and one noticeable ding. Fine chequering only lightly softened. The bores bright with a frosted patch in the left barrel.
