Description
Rubber butt, finely, chequered rounded, semi-pistol grip and forend, horn finial. Tapered, concave rib engraved, the barrels engraved ‘WESTLEY RICARDS & Co. BIRMINGHAM’ and ‘ "DUKEDOM" SPECIAL QUALITY’. Cross bolt, top lever, automatic safety with ‘SAFE’ inlaid. The stock strongly cast off – 1 1/8" at heel. The action engraved with ‘WESTLEY RICHARDS & Co.’ to the sides, simple line border. Reproofed 2002 when chamber extended to 2 3/4".

Additional Comments, Light silvering to muzzle with a number of fine, light marks to the barrels. Feint remnant original colour remaining on the action, lightest tarnish. The chequering softened. A repair to the fore of the escutcheon otherwise little marking of note, the finish would benefit from a touch up. The forend with some nicks to the edges, some tarnishing to the release. The bores bright with a few small marks.
