Ribbed extension to butt, chequered straight grip and forend. Narrow rib engraved ‘JOHN DICKSON & SON EDINBURGH’. Top lever, automatic safety with ‘SAFE’ inlaid in gold. Scroll-back action engraved with extensive acanthus scrolling and ‘JOHN DICKSON & SON’ mounted on a scroll.

Additional Comments, Light silvering to muzzle and breech with a number of fine, light marks to the barrels. A little original colour remaining to the top of the action, the engraving softened. The stock and forend extensively marked with a pit in the stock above the trigger. Some light, localised pitting in the barrels. The case marked with replaced handles.
