The nitro-proved barrel engraved ‘DANL. FRASER & CO. GUN & RIFLE MANUFACTURERS. 4 LEITH ST. TERRACE. EDINBURGH’. Internal magazine with hinged floor plate, recessed release. Flag safety, turned down cocking handle, rear dovetail mount. The action with ropework border to the whole, acanthus highlights. Chambers 7.65mm Belgian, Argentinian Mauser. In the manufacturer’s leather edged, canvas covered, oak case with tools and accessories.

Additional Comments: Silvering to the muzzle, edges, cocking handle and hood. Takedown retaining screw worn. The chequering softened, two dents to pistol grip. The stock with numerous, repairable dings and scratches. The patina very pleasant.
