Description
Ribbed, ebonite butt pad, chequered straight grip and forend. Cast off approx 3/8". The rib engraved ‘3’ with floral embellishments to the breech ends. Treble-grip action, lightly carved percussion fences, rebounding hares ears hammers, top lever. Fine border and acanthus scroll engraving with floral bouquets. Sleeved 1978. For 1883.

Additional Comments, Some fine, localised, pitting to the muzzles, some very fine marks further to the breech end, otherwise unmarked. The action with a brushed finish, the engraving little worn. Hammers, lever, trigger guard no silvering. The stock nicely figured, some light bloom to the finish, chequering pleasantly softened. No damage of note. The bores bright and unmarked.
