Description
Chequered butt, chequered straight grip and forend. Concave rib with simple border embellishments, engraved ‘NEW BARRELS BY CHARLES HELLIS & SONS LTD. 121-3, EDGWARE ROAD, LONDON, ENGLAND’. Top lever, automatic safety, ‘SAFE’ inlaid in gold. The lock plates plain with acanthus highlights and simple border with ‘HOLLAND & HOLLAND’, ‘PATENT EJECTOR’ to the underside. Complete with the manufacturer’s leather case with original label. For 1904 for Eley Bros Ltd, rebarrelled, reproofed 1978.

Additional Comments, Light silvering to muzzle and breech with a number of light marks to the barrels. The action bright with some small dents.
Stock replaced, a piece missing from aside the toplever. The bores bright with some localised, frosted patches. The case relined with replacement straps.
