Removable striker discs, cocking indicators, top levers engraved ‘1’ & ‘2’, automatic safeties, ‘SAFE’ inlaid in gold. The actions widely adorned with the finest acanthus scrolls and bouquets, ‘J PURDEY & SONS’ to the sides. Reproved London 1977.

Additional Comments: Number 1. Silvering to the muzzle and breech, some light scratches to the fore of the forend, the action bright, the engraving very lightly softened, more so to the underside. Fine setting crack to left side. Numerous dings and scratches to the
Stock, one slightly deeper but small (1/4") at the head and on the comb. The chequering slightly softened. Number 2 As No 1. Fine setting cracks to rear of lock plates. Small dent to comb.
