Ribbed, horn butt, chequered straight grip and forend. Tapered rib engraved ‘THOMAS HORSLEY GUNMAKERS YORK’. Elaborately adorned, castellated fences, treble grip action, blued, hold open top lever, automatic safety with ‘SAFE’ inlaid in gold. The action beautifully engraved with symmetric acanthus scrolling, bouquets and fine edging. In the manufacturer’s oak and leather case. For 1896. Sleeved, reproofed, Birmingham 1988.
