CHURCHILL, (GUNMAKERS) Ltd’ etc, the rib with ‘XXV’ gold inlaid, the automatic safety also gold inlaid ‘SAFE’. The action finely decorated with floriate bouquets, acanthus scrolls and ‘E.J. CHURCHILL’ mounted on scrolls, the underside engraved ‘UTILITY MODEL’, ‘XXV’ inlaid in gold. In the manufacturer’s original compact ‘VC’ case. For 1928.
