Ribbed butt, richly figured stock, chequered straight grip and forend. Tapered rib engraved ‘CHARLES HELLIS & Sons. 119 EDGEWARE ROAD. HYDE PARK. LONDON. W ‘. Treble grip action, hold open top lever, automatic safety with ‘SAFE’ inlaid in gold. The fences, action and side plates engraved with broad acanthus scrolls and bifoliolate enhancements. In a brass cornered, leather covered case. Circa 1919, reproved Birmingham 1984.

Additional Comments: Light silvering to muzzle and breech with a number of fine, light marks to the
Barrels. A little original colour remaining on the action, the engraving little worn. The
Stock richly figured with a fine patina. Some minor marks, a deeper scratch to the underside and a fine crack to the butt. The bores bright with some small frosted patches.
