Ribbed, horn, butt, chequered pistol grip with horn endcap and forend. Tapered rib engraved ‘H CLARKE & SONS LEICESTER ‘. Black powder proved Damascus barrels, treble grip action, top lever, automatic safety with ‘SAFE’ inlaid in gold. The action, tang and fences extensively engraved with acanthus scrolling. Black powder, pre 1896 proof.
