Ribbed horn butt, chequered straight grip and forend. Treble grip action, the flats marked ‘ANSON & DEELEY’S PATENT 3769’ hold open top lever, automatic safety with ‘SAFE’ inlaid in gold. The action engraved with bouquets and extensive acanthus scrolling. 1875 – 1887 black powder proof.
