A CASED 12-BORE BOXLOCK EJECTOR Ser No 40
Chequered butt, straight grip and forend. Tapered rib engraved ‘BAGNALL & KIRKWOOD (LATE WITH W.R. PAPE) NEWCASTLE-UPON-TYNE), light scroll to breech end. Hold open top lever, automatic safety with ‘SAFE’ inlaid in gold. The action retaining some original finish, widely adorned with fine acanthus scrolling. Chambers 21/2", Choke Cyl, 3/4, Barrels 30", Pull 14", OAL 46 1/4"

Condition report:
M - C, F - C+, W - C Some very minor marks to the barrels, the engraving to the action crisp. The action retaining some original colour, thinning slightly to the breech of the barrels, silvering to both muzzle and breech. Stock with plentiful scratches, one slightly deeper, a shallow chip from the butt edge.
