A 12 BORE SIDELOCK NON-EJECTOR Ser No E468
Ribbed, horn butt, chequered straight grip and forend. The rib engraved ‘GEORGE GIBBS, 39 CORN STREET, BRISTOL.’, the breech end with fine scrolling. Hold-open top lever, automatic safety with ‘SAFE’ inlaid in gold. The action, including the fences, extensively, finely engraved with varying acanthus adornments, ‘GEORGE GIBBS’ mounted on scrolls to the sides.

Condition report:
M - C, F - C+, W - C+ A small dent to the rib and to the left breech, Other finer marks along the rib. The right hand, underside of the action dented. See pictures. The finish to the barrels near intact with fine, feint silvering to the breech and muzzle. The action with bright finish albeit faintly tarnished. The engraving very slightly softened. The stock pleasing with only superficial marks.
