Chequered butt, straight grip and forend. Tapered, ribbed rib engraved ‘JOHN HARPER, 3. PRICE STREET. BIRMINGHAM’, engraved flourishes to the breech end. Treble grip action, concealed third bite, hold open top lever, automatic safety with ‘SAFE’ inlaid in gold. The action engraved with extensive acanthus scrolling and naïve avian scenes.
