A 13-BORE DAMASCUS HAMMER ACTION Ser No 17296
A Cushioned pad, ebonite extension, figured, chequered straight grip and forend. Beautifully figured Damascus barrels, the rib engraved ‘A THOMSON EDINBURGH’. Hold open top lever, rebounding scrolled, hare’s ear hammers. The action very bright with scroll edging and acanthus decoration. The blued pistol grip tang finely engraved along its length.

Condition report:
M - C+, F - B, W - C+ The engraving to the action is softened, the finish bright. The barrels are wonderfully rich with a pleasant finish, some fine marks. The stock with light marks and a small repair to the lower right side. It has undergone some sympathetic restoration.
