A 10 BORE HAMMER PIGEON GUN Ser No 16630
Metal shaped butt plate, rounded semi pistol grip, forend with horn tip. The rib, concave, broad, gently tapering. Greener’s Patent 3084 – treble wedge fast action. Deeply carved fences, non-rebounding hare’s ears hammers, hold open top lever. Treble grip action. The action simply adorned with line edging. Black powder proof, pre-1887. A very early, rare Greener Pigeon gun.

Sect 58 – Obsolete calibre. No licence required, may be held as a curio or ornament.

Proof Readings Walls Metal - D Finish - D Stock - C- Additional Comments: The barrels with fine rippling, with major rippling to left barrel. The action tarnished, and forend chipped.
