PATENTED-AUGUST 21.1894." and the calibre designation at the breech end, nickel-bladed dove-tailed fore-sight, adjustable buckhorn rear sight, slab-sided receiver with stepped front, the top strap marked ‘MODEL 1894’. Sling swivels with adjustable leather sling. Full-length tubular magazine.
