Ebonite butt, semi-pistol grip and forend with horn end caps. Octagonal barrel, machine-finished top flat, engraved ‘JR GOW & SONS MAKERS DUNDEE’. Stamped .297/250 – its original calibre. Barrel release, hammer, the action retaining much colour with acanthus highlights.
