A 12-BORE SINGLE TRIGGER BOXLOCK EJECTOR Ser No C1485
Ebonite extension to stock, chequered straight grip and foreend, the same horn-tipped. Tapered rib engraved "WESTLEY RICHARDS & CO LONDON.", the breech end with scroll engraving. Hold-open top lever, automatic safety with "SAFE" inlaid in gold, scroll back action with selective single trigger with "L" and "R" inlaid in gold. The action, engraved to the top "PATENT ONE TRIGGER", the edges with scroll engraving, broad acanthus scrolling, "WESTLEY RICHARDS & CO" to the sides.

Condition report:
M - C, F - C, W - B/C 1 1/4in ebonite extension. The finish to the end of the stock disrupted by a rubber cup hence slightly discoloured. No other damage and little wear. Light silvering to muzzle and breech and to left barrel. Retaining some original colour to the action, with light tarnish throughout, the engraving locally lightly softened.
