COGSWELL & HARRISON
A 12-BORE BOXLOCK EJECTOR Ser No 22150
Ribbed, horn butt, chequered straight grip and forend. Sleeved barrels, treble grip action, hold open top lever, automatic safety with ‘SAFE’ inlaid in gold. The action engraved with bouquets and extensive acanthus scrolling, ‘COGSWELL & HARRISON’ mounted on scrolls.
Ser No pre 24000, hence pre-1899 manufacture

Condition report:
M - C, F - C+, W - C+ Some scratches to the barrels, the action having been polished, the engraving softened. The wood with superficial marking. An overall pleasing gun.
