A 10-BORE DAMASCUS BARRELLED ROTARY UNDERLEVER HAMMER ACTION Ser No 6697
Ribbed, horn butt plate, chequered semi-pistol rounded grip with horn end cap. Chequered forend. Damascus barrels with wide, slightly concave rib engraved ‘J&W TOLLEY, MAKERS, 1 CONDUIT ST, REGENT ST, LONDON’. Percussion fences, Jones Rotary underlever, rebounding bar action locks with high, faceted hammers. The actioned gently adorned with fine scrolling to the edges, engraved ‘J&W TOLLEY’ to the sides.

Proof 20mm, 19.9mm Readings 20.01, 19.91 Walls 38, 32 Metal - C Finish - C Stock - B Additional Comments: HAs undergone some sympathetic restoration prior to reproof in 2022. Some pitting to the breech end of the rib and some fine, vestigial marks to the barrels. The action has been frosted but has been saved from over polishing. The stock is very pleasing and unmarked.
