Crescent metal butt plate with sliding cover to compartment, straight grip, the top tang engraved ‘MODEL 1892’, the lower ‘715392’. The forend with rounded metal endcap. Dovetail foresight, full length tubular magazine, the octagonal barrel engraved ‘MANUFACTURED BY THE WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO., NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A. PATENTED OCTOBER 14, 1884’, adjustable buckhorn rear sight. Side plates, sliding dust cover on integral rail.

Metal - C Finish - C/C- Stock - C- Barrel - C+ Additional Comments: Vestigial tarnishing to the action. The barrel the same locally, blueing widely intact, edges to flats silvered. The stock extensively marked with minor scratches and a few deeper, old dents. The barrel very sharp with some old, very light frosting.
