Metal butt plate to richly figured stock, chequered straight grip and forend with horn endcap. Damascus barrel with star engraving to breech end, engraved ‘HOLLAND & HOLLAND, 98 NEW BOND ST LONDON’ to the upper flat. Re-bounding hammer with back action, rotary underlever. M - C/D, F - C, W - C/D Sympathetically restored throughout, vestigial pitting under the forend, the engraving softened, some polishing evident to the barrel and breech. The action polished throughout but retaining sharp engraving. The stock with repair to the rear of the upper wrist, four dents and further minor damage although the restoration work is sympathetic.
