Ribbed, hard rubber butt, figured stock, chequered straight grip and forend. Original Damascus barrels with 1875-1887 black powder marks and have later 3 1/4” proof marks now struck out. 

Second set of barrels for gun no 7576 nitro proofed together with 6535 action in Birmingham 1966. Having 2 7/8” chambers. The second set of barrels have a flip up sight and indications of rifled choke being machined out (likely in 1966) with machine-finished broad rib. Rotary underlever, non rebounding hammers, back action locks, carved fences. The action simply edged. Scotarms Lot No 258

Chequering softened, numerous small dents, a filled repair to rear of right hand lock, the action bright albeit tarnished with fine pitting. The nitro-proved barrels with a beautiful, rich finish, the black powder barrels browned.
