Slightly tapered rib, engraved ‘WESTLEY RICHARDS 170 NEW BOND ST LONDON.’, the breeches engraved .813, the extractor engraved 4865. Anson Deeley action in an unadorned body, inlaid ‘WESTLEY RICHARDS’ in gold, the top lever blued, engraved ‘WESTLEY RICHARDS PATENT’, automatic safety, ‘SAFE’ inlaid in gold. Proofed 1875 – 1887. Nitro re-proved 1925 – 54
